sure it does coincide with a very fruitful time for country music but i think her exploring elements the genre is from a genuine place. if anything it should help show that a lot of the American genres are so connected even country which people is a world away from R&B/pop/etc when its really not

if it really was conceptualized and recorded 5 years and she just forsaw the current upward trend in country music thats cool too, dont see any way you can try to paint this as just hopping on the wave in an artistically bankrupt way
