Iain gon hold u i was a junior when this s*** came out so I f***ed with it, but now it's pretty dated thinking of how old Gambino was when he made this lol
When I was younger I loved this album a lot, I see it for what it is now, but part of me will always have a lil special spot in like the attic of my heart
the attic of your heart lol I like that
i actually don’t mind it, obviously there’s only like 4-5 songs I’d revisit every now and then but there’s definitely some weird nostalgia there for me.
If you go back and listen to BTI, at least half of it is camp tiers of cringe. And I say that as someone who at one point thought it was one of the best albums oat
Not at all bro. Compared to Camp, it's a completely different album from the silly angst vibe that was brought on the first album. BTI was/is more serious and depressing than any of the s*** that was on Camp. You had some silly cringe moments like Crawl, Sweatpants, and Worldstar. But even then it was used in better context to the story of the album and it's production in how Bino wanted to go with this project.
Camp had a lot of just plain silly and goofy moments throughout the album. BTI actually sounds more focused and cohesive than any other Gambino project to this day.
Yeah its f***in great and yall hate for nothing
Legit didnt know it was hated til i came to ktt

KTT hates any artist that steps out of the comfort zone.
Solid Album when listened to as a whole really has a great arc and the camp story at the end tied it all together sooo well

u dont check p4k. or rym
That s*** is still insane to me, Donald not only became a completely different artist but an almost completely different person at damn near 30 years old
Don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone change that drastically at that age
think he did psychedelics around that time so that coulda been a big thing

this
I like L.E.S and Heartbeat, but the rest of the album is pretty bad tbh. He got alot better with BTI.
I talk ab music w my friends and my best friend put me on gambino. Camp was his newest project at the time and i loved it
