I think about that though. I'll probably keep my last name anyway but I definitely know what you mean

I’m not African America my last name was changed when the Ottoman empire was genociding christians in the early 1900’s so it’s still recent in my family history. Try reaching out to older uncles and grandparents if you have any and ask about your family history tho you’ll never know what you find
