there's nothing to normalize, its been happening fir like a decade. im not saying its good business but its definitely standard. i just dont understand why doechii gets singled out when she actually has a lot of organic movement, collabing with k pop stars, winning a grammy, etc

as someone who's seen her come up in real time, i think its a great thing that she's successful and the label is putting money into her but im personally not fully sold on her yet i gotta wait for her next project

Their labels have marketing budgets and some of them spend it on “seeded” content and others could be spending it on things like botting posts for appearances

but this convo seems so disproportional towards Doechii and I never understood it, like she became a pawn in the Drake vs Kendrick stuff even though she and Kendrick have never collabed and arent even on the same label anymore
