“I rep my city despite the fact that they hated me”
Kinda giving me chills cuz the city doesn’t really support its own rappers.
We have Rod Wave. Thats it.
Beneath that are the street rappers.
Then the rappers like Doechii, Dynasty (a NYC born and raised rapper that moved to Tampa and got some exposure), They Hate Change, I remember this guy L8 8loomer (Vinny Virgo) moved to LA, and then I’m blanking on his name it’s like Charles or something and he moved too I think, he was kinda nice too
She's still young, and finding her pockets but Doechii will come into her own. It's really hard to keep that easygoing flow as interesting as Missy made it.
Facts, I agree with you. Still plenty time and room to grow, she’s already doing great. Death Roll is the direction I would LOVE to see her keep exploring cause she’s already so good at s*** like Nissan Altima and I think a song like that is her exploring and expanding on her talent
Chester Watson! That’s who I was thinking of
Chester is dope I've got his "A Japanese Horror Film" album on vinyl lol
Okay, this much better than the first listen and the first listen was already pretty good
I was just looking at the stickied threads on here and had that thought
You gotta put pieces in places, it's 24 hours
You take part of those hours
You do what you can do, and you go to bed
feel like the prod could’ve been more interesting
B**** move, b**** scram, I go apeshit, I go ham
Swear I f*** me up a b****, swear I fight me up a man
Talkin' s*** on Instagram, see me and start stutterin'
I stomp a b**** out in my fancy Timberlands
I'm drinking p***-star martinis in my itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny, yellow polka dot bikini
You wanna be me, you can't be me
Hoes give me the heebie jeebies
Hoes give me the, uh
I don't wanna mingle, you know what to do when you see me
No, I'm serious, though
the versatility is so crazy
the highs and lows and sounding like so many different artists and still being unique
