Intelligence comes in many forms and there are plenty of studies that show tech habits have made kids really sharp in certain ways. In other areas they're lagging badly though, like attention span and reading comprehension. It's an imperative to move quickly through everything these days and so we're evolving to accommodate that while leaving other skills behind.
