I don’t know if this is the best news or the worst news
Best news obv. Confirmed Tobey casting for MCU
Well, my excitement for this movie has died down. Raimi is known for bad horror and horrific Spider-Man movies. If he brings his corniness to this movie it's really gonna ruin it.
Raimi has the 3 best superhero movies of all time (SM1-2, Darkman) under his belt as well as the classic Evil Dead movies. This is literally the best possible choice
Amazing

Awful take. Raimi made the best Spiderman movie

He did not but I'm glad you enjoyed it. His Spider-Man was always way behind its time even in the 2000s. That trilogy makes me cringe. Especially when he gets a haircut to show that he's not a good guy anymore
Raimis pinkie alone has more talent than every single person who has ever had a hand on the MCU but I know there is no way he’s getting creative control on this.
Gonna be another dogshit neutered CBM like all these horrendous films. Disney is pure evil and I’d love if a nuke was dropped on them at this point.
But hey, if this gets Raimi the bag to make an actual interesting movie in the future, I’m for it I guess.

it's know that SM3 is trash but 2 is classic... the old movies always had that cringe factor but i think that was intentional
Raimi honestly is one of the best possible choices for a Doctor Strange sequel as long as the visuals are as good or better than the first. and he doesn't do too many cheesy ass closeups lmao
Quote me when it’s revealed that Scott was dropped because Tobey Maguire said he’d only return under direction of Sam Raimi, and this is a lead up to a Spider-Verse movie.
Potentially a Spider-Verse where the different Spider Men have to team up to take down the Sinister 6, featuring Tom Hardy Venom and Jared Leto Morbius.
