Remember when Dr Strange said that there was only one outcome where Thanos died? Well, since the Dr Strange in the other universe killed Thanos, does that mean 616 Strange was incorrect? Just wondering how he didn’t see the outcome with the dark hold/spell being used.

Couple things

Strange cant and couldnt peek into other universes so if you’re implying that he would see 838’s solution specifically that would be impossible. Also, iirc Strange wasnt the one who killed him. They ended up using the book of Vishanti to do it. Strange used the darkhold only in an attempt to do it.

Our Strange was specifically looking for outcomes available to them at that point in time, their options were limited. Not even sure if he would know about the darkhold at that point. Even if he did, Agatha had it. And he definitely didnt know about the book of Vishanti

This is only headcanon/theory that i support, but, i think there were other options that could’ve led to them beating Thanos but for reasons only Strange knows, he thought that one was the best option. I always played around with this idea but the discussion of Strange “holding the knife” in this movie really cemented it in my head.

Shame what blockbuster movies have become, just the whole way a superhero movie is made now is horrible

finally watched this, I enjoyed it and it finally felt like they tried something different this time even though it was for like 35% of the movie color grading was actually different too
also that scene where she dreamwalks for the first time was some Evil Dead s*** and might be top 5 scenes of the MCU for me

Still top 5 MCU for me.
