On a sidenote, a couple of the barbers at my place have recently begun doing this thing where they spin me round in the chair, rather than they walk around me. I don't like it one bit. Very emasculating.

i only think it would be acceptable in the case of longtime barber you see routinely and don’t got much s*** to talk about.usually have s*** to chat about tho and that’s also part of being a good barber and being personable with your client

Nah I don’t. I’m someone who enjoys watching people who are good at their craft do their thing
Whole time I’m at the salon I’m focused on the craftsmanship. Rarely make small talk either

Next time to wear rock climbing boots, and brace yourself before the spin while maintaining eye contact with the barber. Show them what you’re about.
