Seeing as how many deaths they are causing in the US, I’d say it’s not the worst idea ever

Ahh ok thanks wasn’t aware of that, article I read in the WSJ just said the motives were unknown at this time.

Still can’t believe they did that s***, it’s some stone cold s***

Well for that case the most specific motive, as in what recently particularly drove them to kill them like that, is still unknown. But yeah the conflict has been going on for some time now and honestly I think something should just happen because the status quo is inexcusable

we would f*** it up and make the cartels even stronger

Going after the main cartels will result in massive splintering and create more violence and instability. Look at what happened when the war on d**** began, groups like los zetas and cnjg formed, who are twice as ruthless ass their predecessors. It’ll be the same thing all over again. Not good

As a Spanish linguist in the army I kinda hope so.

Would get to do some cool s***

u amerikaks are the ones funding all of these cartels by buying their d**** and funneling your arms to them this like the spiderman vs spiderman meme US would rather have d*** cartels run the place than leftists, which is why they are still mad about cuba because cuba used to be their bordello-island with hookers and opium before castro flushed those gusanos out to the coast of fLorida

inb4 "my white grandmother used to have african slaves in cuba and ebil castro took them away "

I know they have great power, that's why I said that he was scared. Maybe the USA can help with that though

  • Why doesn’t the us just legalize weed and other d**** so that the cartel can’t compete?..therefore bankrupting them

    https://www.politico.com/news/2019/11/05/trump-mexico-americans-killed-065887

Trump offers Mexico help waging war on d*** cartels after murder of 9 U.S. citizens saying "the cartels have become so large and powerful that you sometimes need an army to defeat an army!" and "This is the time for Mexico, with the help of the United States, to wage WAR on the d*** cartels and wipe them off the face of the earth. We merely await a call from your great new president!"

That morning, gunmen stopped three vehicles on a dirt road outside of town and killed three women and six children, shooting babies at close range and targeting a mother as she begged for her children’s lives.

They were shot and burned alive.

There have been violent clashes with the police and cartel but the police are outgunned and do not stand a chance, just recently:

lol the turmoil in Mexico is due to the direct involvement of USA.

I know this is probably a s***ty idea, but what if the cartel boundaries are like standardized and the cartel is like pushed to actually participate in governance. Like they have to agree not to attack each other for territory, or attack citizens, but in exchange they are asked to impose order and security on the territory they have juridiction over or something and funnel a bunch of d*** profits towards wealth distribution and job creation

In a one on one fight, the us army would indeed destroy the cartels. The only problem is, some locals might actually look at it as a foreign invasion and start an insurgency or something. I feel like if the US does go in they should provide all the military equipment and technology they need while making it LOOK like Mexico is the main one doing it

Decriminalizing d**** would probably be a lot more effective

Idiots acting like CIA dont act by themselves. So stop lumping someone who just came into office with agencies that have been going rogue since their inception.

  • Nov 6, 2019

Just to get backstabbed by their corrupt government thatll probably go into cahoots with Russia or Saudi Arabia to have access to our border. I think not

So basically scrapping Mexico and calling it Cartel

unironically since the USA gets into so many other conflicts so casually we might as well take care of business tbh

This is true, but this has also been the dilemma for basically every US war since 1945. Before their resurgence a couple years ago, the US did manage to greatly weaken al qaeda and the taliban, so I feel like they can do it to almost any armed group
