This is the thing about america that I find funny. Ya'll are literally one of the best countries to live in when it comes to diversity and acceptance. Yet the media potrays america as this racist country when that's not statistically true.
Try being black in Italy, germany or Austria .. just saying.

1. just because slavery ended does not mean its effects have ended. there are still severe, long-term repercussions that have proliferated and will continue to do so until massive change occurs.
2. just because it's possibly worse for black folk to live in other countries does not nullify or modify the racist issues we have here in the US. and there's a lot of issues.
