Hmmm California and NYC beg to differ.

HOW hard is that to understand?

    first of all

you don't double the minimum wage right away lmao. you do it in increments.

second, please go check out the impact of raising the minimum wage on wages. it helps workers.

also guess what, our putrid ass minimum wage already doesn't meet the cost of living in i believe almost every single state.

I didn't know they increase it steadily, I thought it has just a sudden $15 out the door.

But still, I'm a selfish POS human, I don't want my wages undercut. Hopefully instead of getting paid $19.73 an hour I get $34 an hour.

But how will that work?????!!!! Increasing the wage of a shipyard worker would directly increase the spending of the Navy, which will in turn create a tax increase.

The fulfill the wages the navy would have to double the man hour costs for New Construction and Overhaul of aircraft carriers.

With that being said, I don't want $15

im not an expert on this s***, but i do know most costs are offset by typically one time increases of less than a dollar of goods like milk/bread/etc

do some prices go up? sure. but if it costs me 15$ instead of 12$ or whatever to buy a burger, well i was probably tipping 3$ anyway and its just proven to be better for peoples wages.

higher minimum wage helps workers, and if that means corporations have to see a small decline in profits oh well, they'll survive.

If he wins the nomination yes, I think he has the best chance out of any of the Democratic candidates to win back Iowa and Ohio on top of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. If he wins all of those states it'll make up for his weakness in the sun belt.

Youth vote is not gonna save America.

You have to discuss politics with your parents. My parents have a great understanding of the current situation but refuse to go against the status quo.

so go ahead and tell me which blue states are going to flip red because of bernie?

and like i said, the people who don't give a f*** about "socialism" are the youngest voting bloc now. the people who don't give a f*** about some labeling are the people who bernie resonates with.

Young people are always the dumbest so no wonder theyd vote for Bernie and dismiss that he's a communist at heart.

Their wages are not being stolen. Its up to the individual situation whether you want to work for minimum wage or not.

You are gonna earn what you are worth to yourself. If you think you are only worth 15 dollars p hour then yeah you'll make that.

Besides.. we lose more money on taxes rather than companies not paying you "fair".

If Bernie would come through with his ideas we would pay even more taxes.

Nothibg is for free just because you say its free.

no one mentioned the word free but you

and thats an interesting hypothesis, personally, when I worked at a restaurant i felt my labor was worth about 40$ an hour. According to you, this is your own words, I should have been making 40$ an hour

well it turns out that was not the case. weird, its almost as if I have no control over my wages.

How out of touch are you?

We’re not voting him despite the fact that he’s a communist at heart. We’re voting him because he’s a communist at heart.
