Luther just went #1 again for like the 4th time

  • Alot of other lanes have opened up since Drake fatigue:
    Underground has a younger following
Carti was in his own world for a min
    Kendrick revitalizing the west
Producers successfully transitioning into rappers, kinda

    Just to name a few

It’s Kendrick if you guys admit it or not. He had a huge album with 2 number 1 songs, just played the Super Bowl and is on a f***ing stadium tour.

It's moving the goal posts, but I don't feel like Kendrick being number one is the same as Drake's run. Kendrick's been established for so long and is from the same era of Drake, so it really just feels like Kendrick getting his flowers. I feel like for someone to be the new king, they have to be from a newer generation than the previous one.

That being said it was never going to be Future and definitely not Travis. You gotta carry yourself like you want it. Future is just too lowkey to care about s*** like that. And Travis has 0 personality. No one cares about Travis's perspective. If it was just about making hits Pitbull and Flo Rida would have ran the 2010s lmao

I wouldn't care about that but I also objectively don't agree with that

5 years later, several attempts at taking him down, and he's STILL the most streamed rapper today. #2 most streamed artist overall, only Bad Bunny ahead of him.
