nah, they're basically flower buds... pretty tangy and salty, they're perfect for jazzing up mediterranean dishes, especially pasta and seafood dishes

they're a tangy/salty booster for almost anything savory really, they work quite well in salads too
first time i had a caper was in quebec on a bagel and it was so f***ing. ive had acess to a jar of capers at anytime
