He is however the best selling rapper this year by total album sales...despite having no new album this year
Everyone else in the top 5 has dropped 1 or more projects this year
And of course the tour plays a part. By all merits, according to KTT and Twitter every viral tweet is emphaszing the end of his career so why are people jumping to get tickets? The Rolling Stones, U2 and Coldplay put up massive ticket sales, but their new material obviously doesn't hit like the old stuff. That will inevitably happen to Drake, if it hasn't already.
