Niggas are absolutely brain dead if they believe that dumb s***

UMG literally gains absolutely nothing by sabotaging Drake

When he embraced AI in the beef literally the direction the business is going

don't forget some of the angels were celebrating earlier in the year because Drake getting a percentage from Kendrick's streams was the "red button" and now Drake is anti-industry and Kendrick is all botted

Also don’t forget that Drake fed Kendrick the information, asked him to speak about the young girls as a “gift from him”, and is now suing UMG for defamation because they “allowed” Kendrick to say those things

Y’all keep saying that about FATD but it’s not true. We Don’t Trust You is the best selling rap album of 2024.

The tour has nothing to do with anything. Drake will always be able to fill up venues around the world.

You're right I got the data mixed up. The drake album from last year is in 2nd place for best selling album just behind We Don't Trust you by a couple thousand units

He is however the best selling rapper this year by total album sales...despite having no new album this year

Everyone else in the top 5 has dropped 1 or more projects this year

And of course the tour plays a part. By all merits, according to KTT and Twitter every viral tweet is emphaszing the end of his career so why are people jumping to get tickets? Why are people still playing his latest album? The numbers indicate other wise. So is his career over or not? Do certain metrics not count because they don't fit the narrative?

  • They want Kendrick to win so bad when he hasn’t even responded

Had to censor himself for the Super Bowl, Roc Nation got him inna chokehold

Travis Scott did not drop a project this year.

And Drake is only #1 because of the back catalog. Same reason Kanye is #3.

Using a list with Eminem at #6 in 2024 as an indicator of who the biggest rappers are right now is genuine insanity

Drake will always be immensely popular. His new material may not be as relevant as it once was.

The Rolling Stones, U2 and Coldplay put up massive ticket sales, but their new material obviously doesn't hit like the old stuff. That will inevitably happen to Drake, if it hasn't already.

DBR? The highest FW for a rap album this year? lol

    Vultures 1 AND 2??

The rest of all these artists have back catalogs as well? Shouldnt it more insane that drake is #1 SOLELY off a back catalog?

    That’s not a new f***ing project

    And no it’s not insane.

The entire world acknowledges that Drake is the biggest rapper of the 2010s as well as the biggest rapper of all time.

His back catalog SHOULD be streaming that much, he is in a tier of his own when it comes to all-time popularity.

We won't know that for sure until the next album drops which is why threads like this are premature and just another reason to make the daily "Drake sucks I hate Drake #202204" posts

    Then he needs to DROP

    DROP

    DROP

    DROP

(No, seriously, Drake needs to take an extended break and figure some s*** out before he writes another album)
