If your whole life revolves around work to the point where 1-2 weeks off is a legitimate challenge, that might be something to think about.

When I'm off work from teaching, I'm writing, working on music, hanging out with people I care about, going to concerts, watching movies I haven't had time to see, catching up on sleep, etc.

I started working on Saturdays for this reason. I'm not getting paid for it though.

When I worked retail a very work oriented person took week vacations like every 2-3 months. It’s normal even for those folk fam
