It happens but people on both ends will play politics to downplay/overplay it’s occurrence. It’s impossible rn to say empirically how often this occurs, there just isn’t enough research.

Just have regular bathrooms dictated by s***not gender — it deals with a bodily function not identities. There’s a reason why women bathrooms have women hygiene products, because it’s about biology/bodily function.

There’s predators who stalk subway stations/parking lots/peoples commutes on a daily basis in order to find opportunities for victims. Parking lots have a reputation of being especially dangerous because of the opportunity presented to predators. A bathroom is wayyyyyy more secluded compared to an open parking lot. I believe the risk/concern is warranted tbh

Why should trans people bear the burden of the crimes being committed by cis people

A sexual predator can be anyone. You create easier access to intimate and potentially secluded cisgender women spaces — yes there is a legitimate risk that predators take advantage of this opportunity. You see it happen everywhere and with every kind of person.

The only reason it’s a trans issue is because it’s a realistic problem that’s inconvenient for gender theory advocates to confront.

Not all trans women even care about using the same bathroom as a cisgender women either, which makes the discussion even less worth it.

Accommodation of choice for trans women comes in the form of mixed bathrooms, ciswomen who are comfortable can use those same bathrooms. Seemingly the majority of ciswomen are still not comfortable doing so.

Not everyone subscribes to same sort views of gender theory nor should they be forced to in practice/day-to-day life unless it’s the majority opinion.

Personally I could care less about the genitalia stuff being talked about ITT cause it’s stupid. Americans just have to reconcile with the fact that a huge portion of their population doesn’t believe in gender theory due to whatever reasons. Any solution to questions like this realistically have to come in the form of compromise.

Anyone who is pro trans using cis bathroom pragmatically speaking needs to bite the bullet and focus on pushing gender studies in public schooling heavily if they want to change the dynamic.
