It’s literally as though Top and Punch sat down and said, “a lot of our white fans also like corny preachy rappers like Logic and Joyner Lucas and other post-Eminem rappers, I don’t think we’re tapping into that market enough”, found the corniest rapper they could find and made him rap about assaulting the City Girls with period blood, killing Kanye and Trump or whatever it was, dissing Mac Miller, and now this lyric acting like anyone knows who he is. I don’t even believe people in his hometown are saying they wanna be REASON (not all caps as a stylistic thing but like REASON?????!!!!!!!!!!) Even the name is on the nose and clearly just Top and Punch saying “well Logic is big so we’ll call you Reason”. They throwing their legacy away for what they thought would be a quick buck but I have to think it’s not going as well as they hoped. They swore that lying and saying he had features from Kendrick Kanye and Donald Trump and then rapping about killing them was gonna be the next control
