dis aint college inspection somebody apartment is invasion of privacy
wait what? apartments get inspected for routine maintenance lol, tenant just needs 24 hour notice IIRC.
although, it might also depend locally too. think i read before they can't do that in california
I did the same a month ago you’ll be good , maintenance will only come when u request them n if they do come you can easily hide your cats things along with them
Ive owned cats my entire life, most of the didnt give a s*** about going outside tbch. If you never give them the option, they dont even try
As for apartments, u can easily hide a cat. Especially if mangament isn't doing checks or anything. The only issue if u ever want someone to fix s*** inside your apartment, its a b****
Yeah you can easily keep a cat bc they never gotta go outside. My recommendation though @op is to register your cat as an ESA. Most places legally can’t charge you, or keep you from living/ being with your animal

Is that easy? Say you don’t got any real medical reason to have one, you could still register it?
what y’all think?
omg i’ll risk my life for them and also kind a looks like nuna @Coleman

Yeah, depends where you live but if they need to install new smoke alarms or whatever then they can go in, they will give you notice tho

From what I can tell, OP's apartment is pretty small so it may be a bigger issue
Never been in that kind of situation but I know my cats at home claw at the bathroom door when I'm in there, risky business if it's one of those types
its pretty easy both of my roommates did it and havent been reprimanded, it will be 2 years of having them next month, the ultimate hack is registering your cat as your emotional support so your building legally cant do anything about it UNLESS there is no pets allowed
People doing this is ruining it for people who have a legitimate need and use for ESAs...
don't leave ya windows open when management there, learnt the hard way
Wym

also 95% of the time the people that come into do the smoke alaamrs aren't affiliated with the management at least in my case. Legit havent a person from the management company enter my apartment in the 2 years ive lived here lol
