the issue with DMX's case is (purely going on reports), hes apparently 'brain dead' aswell. Sadly nobody has ever been able to recover from that.
If the reports of brain death are accurate, its probably just a case of waiting for his kids to fly in and speak to him while hes still with us, and then the machine will be turned off

Yea fr. I guess the best way to look at it is that he'll be in a better place if he does go.
Just doesn't feel right considering everything he's been through is all

ah, 50/50 was a tad more optimistic then
from what i read some of his kids were in different states and needed to fly in so thats probably the reason for the delay in everything anyway.
naturally i guess the family will want to leave it as long as possible and pray for a miracle, but unless the reports are completely wrong (like they were for dre, kim jong un etc other times) , i think hes leaving us
honestly im just happy swizz/timbaland pushed dmx & snoop to do that verzuz. im sure they both knew how much they were still loved and appreciated, but having that moment hopefully reminded them of that
Apr 6, 2021Being in a technologically advanced world with this stuff is weird brah. Dealing with life or death in such a way that they're still here, but they're gone at the same time, fr hard to comprehend. I've had X in my prayers man..

100%. his life has been heartbreaking. Considering the level of success he reached, he should have had such an easier time of everything
but even hearing him in recent years its like he knew he got a second chance at life, and he got to spend more time with his kids/fam, do what he loved, get involved in music again etc.
so i think that was a positive thing people can latch onto.... not that it makes this situation too much easier

I hate when ppl do that “yall didnt help so and so enough. Yall didnt talk to him in 10 years” guilting s*** when it comes to addicts like...bruh, it’s legit impossible to be under surveillance 24/7 for anybody unless they in jail.
The thing is, if an addict wanna find a way to get high, they are gonna find a way to get high. No matter how strict or around the clock his peoples are. Who knows how that night went down

Yeah I don't like the blame game stuff. It's petty.
I'm sure there's plenty of things people around him would have changed now if they could, but bringing it up now won't bring X back and it'll only make the people around him feel worse
This is just one of those things. And like you say if an addict wants to get high, drink, gamble etc then they will find a way somehow

Well, I can speak from experience. My mom passed away from having an aneurysm, and she was pronounced brain dead. They were just waiting for all of us to come in town before they pulled the plug. I hate to say it, but if he is brain dead, then X aint with us now and he's at peace
tbh same happened to rick ross, had aneurysm and was on life support, i thought he was done.. but look at him now

So for some curious reason after watching the Slippin' video, I just...decided to randomly take a gander at the youtube comments underneath is.
for some reason i feel like X is somewhere sitting and talking/ or taking a walk with god in front of a big screen that's projecting memories of his life and they're discussing everything he's been through and why. Gods telling him what his purpose has always been and gives him the option to continue his journey on earth or come home. X is sitting somewhere really peaceful and tranquil contemplating what he wants to do. Take all the time you need Bruh! we love you X
