hate to say it but it's really unlikely. half an hour without oxygen to the brain, it's a wrap. Permanent brain damage begins after 4 minutes without oxygen. death can occur as soon as 4 to 6 minutes later. (medlneplus.gov). if he lived he'd be in a vegetative state. likely his family will come to pay their final respects, then take him off life support, and he'll be dead shortly after. maybe as early as tomorrow
