Man f*** this s***.. him alongside Em nas and Jay are the reason I fell in love with rap from a young age. Especially him and Em.

Many people forgot but from 98 to 2006 he was the second highest selling rapper behind Em and that by a large margin to the third one which was Jay. Him and Em were everywhere and you could not pass a day without seeing a music video on mtv or hearing a song on the radio from X. He was that huge.

His first 3 will forever be timeless classics.

Real talk has another rap artist been as vulnerable as DMX? He could make a song about robbing someone and make a song about missing his grandma and say Bible verse in one album.
