Lol thats gon only make it worse i feel like i didnt know he flopped and i woulda never cared if he ain do this
“Why didnt ak post gordo numbers” bro shut tf up you niggas is too rich to be on this lame s*** fr
You know why it's like that on this site now. You're OP of the thread, we can all still see how y'all were acting in 2022 when those DAWN FM and Morale first week numbers came in. And then how y'all were acting when those HNVM first week numbers dropped
People who live in glass houses and all that
Fans caring about the numbers their favorite artists put up isn't something Drake fans started and Drake fans always have the most the say because not only is Drake the biggest mainstream rapper, he's the most active. Fans of other artists celebrate when they put up numbers as well. There's nothing wrong with that.

My thoughts exactly lol. Bro bringing attention to his demise
lol and you still don’t get why comparing those to HNVM makes zero sense..
No, I do. But when we tried talking about context for Mr Morale's numbers, we got Pepe copium memes as responses
Like I said, the thread is still there. We all know why HNVM did comparatively low numbers. But it was more about making certain users on here eat humble pie because they were on bs for the entire first half of 2022
We had Drake stans celebrating like little girls when they found out Drake was dropping a surprise album on Kendrick's birthday. Only for them to switch up and hide in Drake sxn when it was HNVM
It was just satisfying to see

Oh lmfao ok respect then. I don’t think I fell into the category of one of those users.

There's a difference between celebrating your favourite artist's numbers and putting down other people's favourite artist's numbers
Again, the thread is still there. We can all still see what the original premise of the thread was. Don't act like it's all about discussing sales or celebrating your favourite artist. You originally made the thread about Kendrick and framed it in a "his fans are setting themselves up for disappointment" type of way, like you actually care that they'd be disappointed by his first week numbers
I mean, he probably doesn't think Kendrick will be putting a diss track on his own album. I definitely don't think he's happy that Kendrick didn't give him a verse or even shout out his album in any way.
This fanfiction hilarious when he clearly thanks him on the album for NLU
he’s right
Mustard album had some good songs but there ain’t no undeniable bangers/hits on it. I didn’t even think that was what bro was going for with all the themes and skits of nostalgia and Christian faith/prayers and s***. That album as constructed was never gonna do numbers
I'm not defending Mustard, definitely 🤡 behaviour. No reason to come at Drake for his low album sales or AK posting it. And he probably did expect higher numbers from the hype of the song
I'm responding to users here who are acting like they believe that would/should have actually happened. I can't think of an instance where the producer of a hit single saw higher numbers on their subsequent solo project just because of that hit single (in the streaming era, because apparently users on here think the industry is the same as it was 16-20 years ago). Especially if the producer is playing more of a DJ Khaled role where the features are the draw (I'm assuming, haven't listened to the album)
If we're comparing stimulus, there's more of an argument for Gordo to benefit than Mustard. Yes it's EDM. But it's f***ing Drake and he has 2 features on the actual album. VS Mustard producing a beat for Kendrick 2 months ago, which isn't even on the album and Kendrick isn't featured on the album. Drake has more involvement on Diamante than Kendrick has on FoaMS. I think it's unreasonable of people to say Mustard should have benefited from a NLU stimulus and then say "EDM album" when people defending Kendrick respond to them about a Drake stimulus
i feel bad you’re typing all this out because they don’t even believe their own arguments they’re just slinging mud

gordo had barely 1m spotify listeners before these two songs dropped compared to mustard's 15m
let's ignore all context though and write essays
Don’t even know why bro crying so much you got like the biggest song out rn. Niggas ungrateful af. Alexa, play Never Satisfied by Future ft Drake
This is insane copium. Drake was never boosting a whole EDM album off two songs.
Even more copium
He's throwing shade at all you Drake stans on KTT that be coming in heavy with the Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for Drake's album sales
Literally dropped my phone laughing
An excel spreadsheet of album sales is hilarious
