Show me ONE example of a producer of a hit song who received a stimulus on their subsequent solo project because they produced that song. Just one

Mustard should just be grateful he got gifted being tied to the biggest diss song in history or else nobody would really even be talking bout him right now. Dude got left in 2015 until a few months ago. Legend but bro going out sad

I can't tell if these niggas are trolling me, but it's self explanatory that comparing these old albums before streaming to the current market doesn't make sense And I don't even know what the stimulus is supposed to be in Timbaland's case. He was making songs with Jay, Missy Elliot, JT, Nelly Furtado before this album. There's no clear NLU equivalent for him

But that album really did well, was not expecting 5th on the charts

Yea Timbaland was a superproducer for years at that point. Him, Neptunes, DJ Toomp amongst others were all over the radio early 2000s. Not the same comparison

u see drake can drop an album and people will tune in to see what he has to say.

Whereas dj mustard thought that after getting lucky with NLU- He could gleefully release an album and get some dj khaled type numbers or some s*** based on his NLU hype. He was petty and reactive and now its over for him but what is going to be tough for him is the fact that he now has to sit with the fact that he did ALL this s*** only to end up with a s***ty album that sold nothing. So I get why he is frustrated and lashing out but he only has himself to blame.

being a b**** by putting on that cap and then saying it was co-incidence and not beef related, then saying the pop out show was not beef related it was some bullshit culture west coast type s*** got him hyped - well we can all see where this hype lead him to.
