It's not coming out in August, lmao. That's way too early and he hasn't been moving like someone who is ready to drop an album that soon. His next LP is his 6th album and judging from how he described it on his IG post announcing the release of DLDT, it's a big deal to him and he'll treat it as such. The album is the last project I see him using a rushed release for.
He has absolutely no reason to do that when he's dropped so much music this year already. If he feels like it's some of the best music he's ever made, why rush to release it if now simply isn't the best time? Waiting a while won't hurt him in any way and he'll probably do that. The Khaled singles drop on the 17th of July. He's gonna let those songs do their thing for a while and then he'll start pushing singles off his own album. He's never dropped an album with only one single out before. I doubt it's gonna start happening now, but we'll see.

The only reason I'm not agreeing with you is because we've gotten DLDT this year already. That's 14 songs. He can call it a throwaway or whatever but it was all new music to most peoppe. Add in the two Khaled tracks, LIG and OBA and that's 18 songs already. I'm sure he has other features on the way.

I don't see him rushing the release of the album because with the amount of music he's dropped already, it makes no sense to. A surprise release is not happening and he will definitely push more than one single from the album before he drops it. October seems far away enough but if hasn't dropped the lead single off the album by next month, I doubt it'll drop by then.
