This simply isn't the best time to drop new music. If it's not concsious music or music addressing what's going on right now, no one wants to hear it.

So? Its the number 1 song in the US. Toosie slide still top 10. People still want and will need music to enjoy

Nobody wants to hear club or party jams right now when nobody is clubbing or partying. ROCKSTAR and Toosie Slide dropped in April when the world hadn't gone to s*** yet, so it's understandable that they're still getting played. It'll be incredibly tone deaf of Drake to start dropping singles right now. To add to that, he dropped a new project less than 6 weeks ago. It's not that hard to read the room. He doesn't NEED to drop new music anytime soon. People who haven't dropped any new music in years are holding back from dropping new music because they know they'll just look stupid and desperate if they try to sell music to anybody during this period.

the looting has stopped i think but peaceful protests still going on
still even if they did stop tomorrow, i think it's better to wait at least a month before pretending everything is normal and doing the album rollout
