Ngl if the cop did absolutely nothing like some y’all recommended, you would then be complaining “white officer does nothing to try to save black girls life”
Tbh I think the shooting was justified but to say it was “the right thing to do” is a bit outta pocket
I remember filming a skit for English behind this building with my classmates in like 9th grade, like 3 cop cars pulled up, they pulled out guns and screamed at niggas to get on the ground. One sudden move and they would’ve probably started shooting.
If it was white kids the cops would’ve pulled up on some “what’s going guys. You’re not supposed to be here. Let’s get it moving”
I mean nobody is saying that isn’t the case
Like literally all you guys just completely ignore the fact that this girl was trying to murder someone
Ur saying black people are not shot and killed by police at a higher rate
The author is saying that black people who are in violent conflict with police are not shot at a higher rate
Im genuinely curious. After this post, how are you concluding I'm trying to misrepresent his argument?
this is a classic example of a thing that's popular on twitter being unpopular in real life. 2016 everyone on Twitter wanted Bernie. Or Hillary. Then 2020 everyone wanted Warren or Bernie. Biden had zero stans. The majority of people (including black people) see this and think the officer wasn't in the wrong. it's only in twitter or on campus where everyone is trying to outwoke everyone else that this is remotely seen as a conversation
Tupac surprisingly believed in the justice system if you listen to his interviews. was also very pro 2nd amendment. wouldn't be completely surprised if he grew to be a Ye or Killer Mike
You can believe in the idea of a justice system that protects people and not f*** with the police. And of course he was pro second amendment. The nigga was a child raised around the Black Panther Party/Black Liberation Army. All of them were strapped. And they believed in a justice system as well, they ain't f*** with the police though, and they believed in community policing.
Nigga you’re arguing in bad faith. You mad cause you think mfs itt was saying only niggas get shot when nobody was even saying that
youre literally arguing to be arguing at this point. You stay getting shut down with every post from everyone that’s responding to you. Just stop g.
Argues in bad faith
tells someone else they arguing in bad faith.
Dont quote me child. I'm tired of your bullshit.
Sure. You’re arguing semantics though.
Of course nobody thinks the cop was “right”. But he literally potentially saved someone’s life so even if he wasn’t “right”, he also wasn’t “wrong”
If the cop wasn't "wrong" in his actions, what was he then
I agree that not everything is black and white, but people gotta be clearer with their words if they don't want to be misunderstood

I’m not. I said earlier I don’t think this cop is Derek chauvin or think he should be charged with murder.
I don’t think he had to shoot and kill this girl either.
Just wanted to say i had fat s*** earlier after eating Denny's.
Never again.
What you get there?
Just wanted to say i had fat s*** earlier after eating Denny's.
Never again.
Dennys
You can say that the cop shouldn't have let the other girl die, but you don't have to say he should have killed Ma'Khia
Im pretty sure this is what most people mean anyway tbh
then people should say that. whether or not the cop had an option, he stilled killed a young Black girl standing her ground. he was the executioner within a system designed to kill Black people.

Just admit you were wrong and move on already

community policing is how Trayvon got killed. There'd be a lot more Trayvons with community policing. But yeah cops and the justice system are separate. And Pac shot two cops. A gun that Pac owned also fired a bullet that killed a 6 year old black boy, so idk Pac is imperfect
I think Pac would think the community should have saved this girl and Pac would feel a way that she was in foster care, but her mom instantly found the closest TV camera. I think he'd just see it as an unfortunate situation all around
Im genuinely curious. After this post, how are you concluding I'm trying to misrepresent his argument?
"Black people who are in VIOLENT CONFLICT with police are not shot at a higher rate"
Is not the same as black people in general are not shot at a higher rate
If the cop wasn't "wrong" in his actions, what was he then

He was justified. He saved a black teenage girls life. That’s all that matters.
then people should say that. whether or not the cop had an option, he stilled killed a young Black girl standing her ground. he was the executioner within a system designed to kill Black people.
No no she was not standing her ground. That’s a flat out lie
She was the aggressor who attacked both girls

i think you're underestimating how trigger happy and violent cops can be. a lot of white people get killed by cops. white people just don't care because they don't have a legacy of America enslaving them and disenfranchising them, so getting killed by cops doesn't open a bunch of societal wounds

this is facts.
I don’t hate white ppl. spend a lot of time working with them and I have white friends. i’ve literally seen cops approach these situations differently. in some ways it’s just human nature/basic psych. ppl treat ppl better when they perceive common ground
cops should be trained to mentally fight their own racism/implicit bias. but since they’re not able to do that for whatever reason, they should no longer be allowed to pull people over or respond to domestic disputes with guns imo.
