cops are trained to shoot many times tho & to shoot to kill, really anyone with a gun is
Then thats a potential fault in the training system (in some cases tho it can be beneficial to fire more if they are armed or don't go down all at once)
I do not get it would u guys have rather the girl killed the other one and was arrested afterwards?
Ion know why ppl mad at envie he said if it’s his daughter then he’d want that to happen like I’m sure most of yall would too so it ain’t really nothin to talk about on dis fr rip to the girl
Knives account for 10% of homicides in the US and 43% of homicides in Europe lol go tell all those people its not a big deal to be stabbed
Yeah these people are insane, it kills me because they are playing into racists hands when they spin this
Based on the split second decision that the officer had to make, the warning to stop and the context of her mid lunge with a deadly weapon he did the right thing.
No it was not perfect, no Makiah did not deserve to die but the simple matter is he made the right call to stop her then to see what happened if she did stabbed the other girl. Its not even debateble
if that girl were left to do whatever she wanted w that knife it’s still unlikely she would’ve killed that other girl. it’s that simple.
a.the girl would’ve fought back.
b. it’s just a steak knife.
c. other people would’ve intervened.
most likely scenario is an injury.
now somebody is DEAD from four gunshots. what aren’t you understanding?
nobody is going to wait to see how bad someone is injured before intervening
and for the last time NOBODY CONDONES HIM SHOOTING FOUR TIMES
the cop is not going to weigh the pros and cons of knife injuries and gunshot injuries when someone is milliseconds away from being cut
how niggas itt wish cops were like
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smj75p92INAYou thought this was funny huh? We just want the police to handle situations without gunning people down you lame ass nigga.
Getting one shot off or tasing her imo. Nobody deserve to get handled like that when there’s other options.
yea. still don't think the officer is fully at fault. he made a quick decision which ended up not being the best one
Watch the video
Nobody was even fighting when the cop gets there... the cop gets out of his car and casually walks up and the girl in pink walks towards him to talk
Then from the driveway Makhia tries to stab another girl and throws her to ground and the cop yells and pulls out his gun
Then Makhia runs to the girl in pink and pushes her against the car with her left arm while having the knife in her right hand about to stab her
That’s when the cop opens fire after yelling at her to stop
f*** man. still don't know what happened. But if Makhia was being bullied by those other girls to the point where that was her only defense and a cop just comes and kills her. Like this s*** is wild
You thought this was funny huh? We just want the police to handle situations without gunning people down you lame ass nigga.
yeah I want them to handle most situations without gunning people down but I want them to still shoot violent people when they are posing immediate and serious threat to others and there is no better option which in this case there really wasnt
The way you're approaching justice here isn't how most people approach this at all. Justice isn't just about whether dying is worse than whatever damage you're about to do. If you shot someone in self defense to avoid being stabbed, the judge wouldn't say "why didnt you just let him stab you, that's not as bad as dying."
im not a cop.
also if I were with a woman and another woman were going to stab her I wouldn’t shoot anyone. but hey, that’s just me.
f*** man. still don't know what happened. But if Makhia was being bullied by those other girls to the point where that was her only defense and a cop just comes and kills her. Like this s*** is wild
How does the cop know that tho
He comes to a scene and sees a violent girl holding a knife he doesnt know the nuance
You thought this was funny huh? We just want the police to handle situations without gunning people down you lame ass nigga.
He really dropped a family guy cutaway and thought that was it

How is it unlikely she would’ve died? All it takes is getting stabbed in the neck or any important part of your body
If nobody intervened before it got this far then nobody was gonna intervene to begin with
How do you know the girl would’ve fought back and not folded after being stabbed? You talking a lot of if scenarios that also seem highly unlikely
In the end the dude had seconds to react, and his initial reaction was to grab his gun and save the other girls life. Was that the right decision?
Probably not. Shouldn’t have shot her 4 times but that’s how they are trained.
Was the cop trying to manhunt… absolutely not, don’t turn this into something it isn’t.
A lotta people itt are completely forgetting about the girl in pink. The way you're approaching this situation just ready to let her get stabbed or die for basically no reason. Why are you placing so much priority on the girl with the knife when the other girl was clearly about to be the victim?
Mainstream media conditioned these niggas that's why. They brought back tribalism so the only thing that matters to these people is that a black girl was killed by a white man, nevermind the black girl was an unhinged potential murderer. IDGAF if the same thing happened to a white girl I would be saying the same s***. Same niggas in the topic defending this girl would be s***ting on a white girl for getting shot. I’m s***ting on both.
f*** man. still don't know what happened. But if Makhia was being bullied by those other girls to the point where that was her only defense and a cop just comes and kills her. Like this s*** is wild
I mean we don’t know what exactly happened before the cop got there but nobody was even fighting when he arrived. It was calm
And then Makhia goes nuts out of nowhere
I'm glad the cop did the right thing.
You people are tripping
"The cop did the right thing. You people are tripping" - Lord187
People with assault rifles get detained, you can shoot up a church full of black people and the cops will take you alive and even take you to Burger King.
This girl did not have to die and anyone defending this s*** is a f***ing clown
I get this take. But every situation is different. From the officers to the assualter being armed when they are by the cops
Cop was right to fire to protect the life of another girl in a situation he didn't understand
That's literally what cops are supposed to do he was protecting life
Cop was wrong to fire that many times. It's not black & white as someone else said.
You are right, multiple things can be true...current police tactics and training could use some form of reform but I don't think there is enough here to say that this police officer did anything overly terrible, its a f***ing trash situation that everyone was put in.
There is nothing here to indicates this cop was being racist or overly aggressive(based on current police training which i said could use adjustment).
I mean everyone there is going to have to deal with some terrible trauma, do you really think that dude wanted to kill a girl that day?
nobody is going to wait to see how bad someone is injured before intervening
and for the last time NOBODY CONDONES HIM SHOOTING FOUR TIMES
the cop is not going to weigh the pros and cons of knife injuries and gunshot injuries when someone is milliseconds away from being cut
pros and cons?
it’s a simple calculation. knife less dangerous than gun. doesn’t take a genius.
In the end the dude had seconds to react, and his initial reaction was to grab his gun and save the other girls life. Was that the right decision?
Probably not. Shouldn’t have shot her 4 times but that’s how they are trained.

that's what i'm saying. s***s f***ed up
