a lot of this really isn't from the pov of color. it's about what is more likely to stop the situation. people itt argue like the cop should've done the mental math to determine the almost-exact probability of a taser working vs a gun, then act on that in the span of 2 seconds

he made a heuristic choice because he had little time to react. there's a possibility that a different decision could have kept both of them alive, but i think most of those decisions had a higher probability of the pink girl getting stabbed and a lower probability of even working out ideally
