yeah i didnt watch the video, just read in the comments something about her swinging the knife at people.
Regardless, using a gun was necessary in this case. Even if the police used a taser, the range and speed of that shot is much slower and it could have potentially led to the aggressor killing someone before the taser did its thing.

I believe at the time of the shooting he was the only cop nearby. I think another cop pulled up behind him a few seconds after.
