Alright, Dot my favorite artist of all time. That being said I just seen someone say that Kendrick got the same set list every show and while I can see the argument for that being fine considering it’s still a great show does anyone else find it a bit stale? I mean I feel like what makes certain tours so interesting and memorable is the unpredictability of it all. Not just setlist wise but in all different kinds of ways, speeches etc. just feel like it’s a bit boring personally
Edit: And I know it’s like this with I wanna say most artists but I feel like it’s just kinda stale, and considering Kendrick is the most exciting rapper of our times I guess I’d just expect something a little more. Like when he rapped maad city over a different backing instrumental that s*** is dope as f***! If he did s*** like that with other songs, and experimented with things across the tour that would be so much more engaging. Maybe my expectations are too high I guess. Funnily enough that’s why I enjoyed that infamous frank ocean Coachella set. It was fluid and we had frank showing unique renditions of his tracks, s*** just felt natural

He clearly wants to perfect everything about his setlist every time he goes on tour, can’t do that without reps
There’s a reason why last nights tour just felt better than say Minneapolis or Houston
Act like you love this AMERICA s***
But Your Honor, he said “wop wop wop wop” 😭😭😭
Round 2 tonight
Round 2 tonight

My only complaint is that version of MAAD City he did.

The issue is in this day and age we run to social media and already know the setlist/songs being performed and what is happening. That's on us.
Every show should be a first time and in person experience. It's like going to watch a play without knowing what the next song is going to be and what happens. It's equivalent of reading movie spoilers and then wondering why the plot twist didn't hit the same.

I miss the days of not knowing what the set list is gonna be

I think that's better giving fans a new experience, there's already other songs on the setlist that give off that maad city energy

It'd be cool to see more variety, but it's unrealistic to expect setlists to change in a stadium tour. You have to coordinate visuals, choreography, etc for every song. It's the same way you wouldn't expect a broadway show to swap out songs night to night. You're kind of locked into a certain sequence unless something is clearly not working.
If he wanted to be f***ing evil, he’d do the 1st verse of MTG tonight, right before Father’s Day

No I don't see why that's an issue. If you are planning to go to the show then there's no reason to watch previous performances. Just like you wouldn't watch a pirate version of a movie before going to the cinema.
What?
Are you saying the same setlist for each show inside a specific tour or the same setlist across multiple tours?

Inside a specific tour. And if your comment is implying that’s the standard for a tour yes I understand that but it doesn’t have to be the case and isn’t always necessarily the case with every artist
That’s a hit
