So what the hell is Bodies then? Is it just an interlude? We know he recorded at least some of it in the studio for the trailer, but I was convinced that if he were to perform it it’d be as the opener (which it wasn’t) and that he’d perform more of it (which he didn’t).

Is it unfinished? Is he gonna perform more of it as the tour goes on? Or, again, is it just a little interlude track and that’s that?

Echoing sentiments about finding the lack of Mr Morale odd. You’d think N95 would basically be a set staple for him the rest of his career. I’m glad I caught the Mr Morale tour because it seems like for a lot of those songs, we will likely never get a chance to see them live again.

My baseless “Bodies” theory is this:

after Mr Morale but before the igniting of the beef, Kendrick was working on an album— we know this is confirmed by Sounwave.

I really do think that once the beef hits, the energy for that project paused, and then Kendrick shifted from whatever s*** he was working on before to the beef s***, and then GNX was basically a 2024 lighting in a bottle album.

So my theory is, I wonder if Bodies is from the other project he would’ve been working on until the beef hit hard. I wonder if he’s teasing it so hard to build crazy anticipation for it because once the GNX era is over, he drops Bodies and it will go immediately into the next album cycle.
