Pretty sure it's a family member or someone very close to the family. The person knew that she was at home
Yepp, it's usually a family member or someone close in these cases.
From what I've read she needs certain medication to live and it's been days since she's had it so it's likely that she is dead. I hope this is not the case, but realistically this is not looking good.
I have my money on a family member being the culprit. This s*** is just too weird.
Agreed. It doesn’t make any sense otherwise to so meticulously plan and kidnap a newscasters elderly mom

It wouldn’t make sense either way because the first people getting put under suspicion are the family
What's upsetting is that she had a Ring doorbell camera and it detected a person at the front door but it didn't record any footage because she didn't pay $5 for the cloud subscription
I'm sure they're looking at the neighbor's cameras and highway cameras right now though
I bet they have some type of working arrangement with Ring to get the footage even without the subscription.

Yea I have a feeling that they store everything on their servers regardless if someone pays to access it or not

Abusive husbands kill their wives all the time knowing damn well they’re gonna be the first person in that room
People are dumb or think they can get away with s***

But still, not too dumb to plan and execute the kidnapping sucessfully. It depends on if their intention was always to kill her – if they had any plans of keeping her alive and letting her go, being related opens up way too many opportunities for being recognized
This is such a strange case that keeps getting stranger
What do you think happened

Stress of being kidnapped and going days without heart medication is also a rough factor

Honestly can't come up with a solid theory with what we know. Im seeing multiple theories ranging from it was a family member or it was something related to her husband working for Clinton. I can't call it tbh. But i will say the circumstances as of now make zero sense to me. I'll wait until more info is released until i make predictions.

I’m in the same boat
Very disturbing and I can’t wrap my head around a cohesive motive
And it unfortunately seems like she might be dead right now
That’s what I’m thinking too tbh since the blood is confirmed her’s that means there was some sort of violent struggle enough to cause blood loss which doesn’t bode well for someone her age
I feel as though she may have passed away prior to leaving the house and they took her body to hide evidence

Paying a subscription fee to keep yourself safe or even save your life, s*** is so cooked
Didn't realise that's how Ring worked, you're already paying good money to buy their device, miss me with the fee on top of that

Extremely dystopian right
Basically free Ring lets you view live footage but the subscription lets you see past recordings
Should be a free service
Bizarre disappearance. Not sold on the family angle.
