Sir Swagalotthis is a pretty good album. lots of beautiful and stunning moments but it can feel too disjointed and structurally inconsistent at times imo…if 22 a million is your fav bon iver album i could see this being just as effective of a listen
now this gets me interested

O DStill incredible, as amazing as baby is and it feels like a better project overall, Absolutely had higher highs for me
Can agree there for now but id also say different parts of absolutely clicked for me at different times in life and i imagine the same happening with Baby. Just special music sometimes cant all hit that first listen or two

Album gets stronger in the back half
Aug 19, 2025Definitely enjoy the vibes, and very interesting musically. But in terms of this connecting with me, the glitchiness and everything going on with the production really just puts up a barrier for me to wanna revisit with it being my sole focus (not just background music I’m not paying attention to) 😕
Not sure how popular the comp to Blood Orange is, but it’s almost the exact same thing. I have an enormous amount of respect for what they’re both doing, but I just could never connect with Blood Orange albums either.
