SOS was the worst offender of this. To this day I will never understand how that was the one people gave perfect scores when ctrl exists. Ctrl is such a more concise, incredible album to me. And I like SOS but it could have been cut down and been much better

If you did, it don't matter if reviews are "overcompensating" cause said reviews shouldn't mean squat to your own listening experience idk.

I only brought it up because someone talked about it being scored very highly otherwise, I’ve been talking about Dijon in general + the new album.

Im sure I’ve s***talked reviewers on this site in the past but my only genuine problems I have are with white critics that place their biases and values onto things they don’t culturally understand and people that overvalue the reviewer/scores when discussing the album.
