Combs' Agifilo: At some point you can ask, Can I trust the prosecutors? It takes a lot of courage to acquit. I think that the evidence shows, and you can conclude, that the government targeted Sean Combs. I wouldn't say that if Cassie went to Homeland Security.

Combs' Agnifilo: America is great because between each citizen and the government there is a jury. This is your house. I am asking you to summon that courage to to do the right thing and acquit Sean Combs on all counts. He is not a racketeer. He is innocent.

    "Acquit or you're p****"

Combs' Agnifilo: It's like, my wife is from Los Angeles. I hated LA. Now I love Los Angeles. Sorry. That's how it happens. Cassie, she is a beautiful sexy person. She was with Michael B. Jordan, like the most handsome man in the world. She is not messing around

"She is not messing around" is just unnecessary

Implications from someone in court exchanging notes with their counsel? Nah dog, I'ma need this explained to me

An accused might want to point something out about the testimony to their lawyers in court but if they talk, it might disrupt the testimony/proceedings. So what other option do they have except writing notes to each other?

Just seems wild to me that a lawyer says "This recorded phone call had sounds of someone making notes. And he did the same thing with his lawyers in court, so it's a pattern"

My bad so it’s a tactic we use to make the other person look bad it’s honestly worked for the most part. But usually not necessary a big case like this I’d throw anything tbh

  • fancy lacriminal

    Alright man.

This lawyer must hate him on the low because bruh

    He’s getting meaningful time IMO

He might not get the life sentence but when/if he gets out he’ll definitely be old as hell

I'm in practice too That's why it confused me. Actually seen a colleague get ethered by a Magistrate for talking to his client too loud while an accused was addressing the court

Just following from afar, very high level and only paying attention to headlines and quick summaries, it does come off that while he’s psychotic and abusive he wasn’t really “sex trafficking” anyone. But again, that is just the 1000 foot high view I have.

    Trial has started

  • Jun 30, 2025

9:12 am - Judge Subramanian enters
Judge: In case there is anything, we'll bring the jury in for the charge.
Combs' Geragos: The laptop is ready, there're a few things we'll finalize during the charge.
Judge: Just email it to Chambers.

  • Jun 30, 2025

    Judge: All rise!
    [Jurors enter]
Judge: I'll read you the charge, it's long but I'll try to make it interesting. You have now heard all of the evidence in this case as well as the final arguments of the parties. I will instruct you on the law - as I give it to you

  • Jun 30, 2025

Judge: The evidence is the testimony - the answers - and the exhibits. Arguments are not evidence. You are the sole and exclusive arbiters of the facts... What is a reasonable doubt? It's based on your common sense, after carefully weighing all the evidence

  • Jun 30, 2025

Judge: You just weight each witness' credibility, the truth and importance of their testimony. Size him or her up. You must decide. Sean Combs has been formally charged in an indictment. An indictment is not evidence.

  • Jun 30, 2025

Judge: Count 1 charges from 2004 to 2024 a racketeering enterprise... Count 2, from 2009 to 2018, s***trafficking of Casandra Ventura. Count 3, from 2009 to 2018, transporting individuals including but not limited to Ventura, for purposes of prostitution

Judge: Count 4, from 2019 to 2024, s***trafficking of Jane. Count 5, from 2019 to 2024, transporting individuals including but not limited to Jane, for purposes of prostitution. Each court is separate.

  • Jun 30, 2025

Judge: For attempt, the US must show intent and a substantial step taken. Mere intention does not amount to an attempt. Aiding and abetting means knowingly doing some act to aid or encourage a crime to be committed

  • Jun 30, 2025

Judge: For RICO, the US must prove that from 2004 to 2024 there was an agreement between two or individuals for a racketeer enterprise that impacted interstate commerce, that the defend joined and committed at least 2 predicate acts.

Judge: The US must prove a mutual understanding to cooperate, you may infer its existence from the circumstances of this case. Actions may speak louder than words. You may consider the acts of all of those you find to be participants.
