Don’t know much about the Melanie situation, but Rex Orange County’s was a single, isolated incident, and he was ruled innocent by law enforcement after CCTV footage and a witness statement did not match the story that the accuser gave.
It’s much different from this Diddy situation where he’s getting numerous accusations of heinous crimes from various people, some of them being people in the industry

He got a sweetheart deal and then continued on business as usual.
It took 14 years for him to get convicted again and it was most likely because he outlived his usefulness.
So yes I think there's a possibility that Diddy survives this.
