Perfect and concise rollout too, it was destined to have a huge debut. The core Drake/hiphop fans were already anticipating the project since 2014, but for the general public:

• One Dance, an instant international pop smash drops as the lead single for Views (April 5)
• the April 29 release date is announced (April 9)
• album cover drops, becomes a viral meme (April 24)
• Views is released (April 29)

I’m no Views fan but this was effective
