I like the leaks though but Carti stepped up heavy on the real WLR. The OG WLR sounded like Die Lit 2.
We needed this aggressive WLR.

I was so caught off guard by the fact that the album didn't sound like every other trap influenced album of the last couple of years. It really grew on me and it's safe to say this is def my fav Carti album now

tupacartiidc what anybody says, WLR v1 should've seen the light of day and been released. it was scrapped before the leaks even happened though so leaks weren't the problem

May 12, 2021Career is not ruined. Album went #1 (not that it means anything). Songs are doing well, album is doing well, critical reception is pretty good. Carti still has plenty of gas left in the tank, leaks may have f***ed up the release originally but he rebounded twice

Album sounded like stick talk and groupies but i kno what u mean. ds2 is the artistic pinnacle of trap and red took it where it needed to go.
