Drake is clearly trying to fight that battle, he’s suing his label and also has owned his masters since scorpion. He also released 3 projects which definitely has significance in his label situation. We don’t know what’s going to happen next but it would seem that Drake is either going to go independent or get an insane deal.
Also maybe I’m just too much a fan of the music but in the context of someone like Drake who could have Bs on the table idk how much the “worker” rhetoric really hits.
