is this s\*\*\* based off that time Rodman was in vegas drunk during the finals? Why do i hear ts and think of that
Because it is lol…
bro thought it might be a travel channel show of rodman trying different buffets around town for 2 days
in a biopic, likeness over everything my man, it’s not like Dennis Rodman does a lot of talking I could imagine refn having a cool take on this as a director lol
Oh man, I just couldn’t disagree more. Don’t get me wrong, likeness is important. But a lot of that can be achieved with a good make up, hair, and wardrobe team. In some cases, even minor prosthetics.
Acting chops and the ability to sell the role through acting is far far more important for me.

I’ll offer you 3 examples why this is just not the case to me at least Ali & TWO Aretha movies where they casted talented people who could function & stand in for the intended persons talent wise, in will’s case I think he even channeled Ali’s energy admirably but the likeness isn’t there, it falls flat, there’s no real sense of immersion
is it really as simple as camera tricks & creative fx when dealing with a person whos meant to tower over most people & had a super athlete build
How did they do that Laker show? Surely all them dudes playing the basketball weren’t 6’0+ right?
Mark Kerr biopic is an example of casting to match likeness, he could channel the physicality of the person he’s playing easily, the prosthetics were incredible but not extreme, people can find the plot boring but it felt very grounded despite the guy being played by the freaking rock lol
