I never said he was bad at it. I’m saying as a director that doesn’t prefer dialogue heavy films, it’s weird and odd that the majority of his films are dialogue heavy.

You would think that he would choose to put out films that have less dialogue

I know you aren’t saying he’s bad, and I get what you mean now. Usually someone assumes if they hate doing something it’s because they suck at it.

And in the article he said he’s trying to get towards doing that. I think he knows dialogue is damn near majority of a film so he prolly hasn’t had the confidence yet to steer differently

There was a legit part i was like s*** this film is 10/10. The best Sci Fi film in a minute.

But the ending let it down, some deaths anti-climatic. Not really satisfaction resolutions. Ufortunatey seems they were constrained by sticking to the books.

Still an amazing film. Will likely be watching in theatres again.

I need a miniseries on the Giedi Prime planet.

I think that’s gonna be one of the biggest complaints is some of the deaths.

Yeah man, I know it was already a long film but every minute was incredible they should have stretched out the final act to make those better and this is blade runner 1, the matrix, alien level all time classic.

Let’s see on rewatches how it lands but I thibk it was a bit of a disservice to what had been basically perfection

my ONLY nit pick for the movie is it really feels its length

which im overall fine with, a ton happens and the pace never drags. it slows down at the right times etc but it really felt that 3 hours
