OHMNIWhat made you feel mixed on pacing? Would you watch it again?
Certain story moments seemed very accelerated. I would watch it again though I think another watch would help me too.

No I have not read the books. I do want to but I have this thing if I start a piece of media from books that already exist I will wait until the film/tv version is finished at the point. Don't wanna spoil myself. I'd have more biases if I read the books. I'm just taking the story for what Dennis wants to show.
Also, I wouldn't say the moments are unearned but it just seemed like some things happens fast at times.

I’ll be taking yours, but it’s getting praise everywhere for good reason. Reminds me of LOTR sweep. Only other announced films I see competing at the moment are Furiosa and maybe Kingdom of apes movie if it’s as good as the last trilogy.
