If Refn ever did a big budget like this mech movie he wanted to do Avenging Silence . It would be a wrap
"MOST VISUALLY IMPRESSIVE"
IM 3 HOURS AWAY FROM DUNE AND I HOPE WE NOT JUST IN FOR AN AESTHETIC MASTERPIECE I NEED MORR THAN THAT FROM VILLENEUVE
Breh you will def get more than that, the book is called the greatest scifi book by many for a reason. Only thing you need tp consider is that this just the beginning of the story.

Let’s be honest you not there for the story
had the chance to watch the movie yesterday night
yall need to watch it in theaters
it has its flaws, and people who are not fan of Villeneuve filmography probably won't change their mind about him with this one but man, it's one of the most visually impressive movie i've ever seen. and the cast is great.
hope we'll get a second part soon enough
Notice he didn’t say writing or story good

Damage control already beginning
IM KINDA ANXIOUS ABOUT THIS DUNE MOVIE BRO IM SEEING TOMORROW IN IMAX AND I GOT REALLY HIGH EXPECTATIONS IDK IF HE CAN MATCH THEM.
IS 2H45 MNS GONNA BE TOO LONG WILL IT GO FAST
IF ITS FIRE I WILL GO AND TRY THE DOLBY EXPERIENCE ON THE 16TH AND PROBABLY WATCH IT ONE LAST TIME ON THE 17TH
Lol when this doesn’t meet your expectations
Notice he didn’t say writing or story good
He didn't even single out an actor/actors who stood out

I been warning you dune fans . Visually I feel it’s gonna look cool but acting and story Idk . Yes I know it’s a book but when you got to translate it and 2 parts , studio and star power it gets messy
He didn't even single out an actor/actors who stood out
Oscar Isaac gonna be fire
Notice he didn’t say writing or story good
the writing is good imo
it's so difficult to make an adaptation of Dune and imo Villeneuve nailed it
He didn't even single out an actor/actors who stood out
tbh everyone was great
Dune fans will love this version of Duncan i think
Isaac is a great Duc, very charismatic
Chalamet and Ferguson were also great
Bautista is pretty scary
really i don't think i have a single complaint about the cast

Writing plot movie feeling complete ?
Hilarious comparison I gotta stop coming into this thread it's getting bad.
It’s not that serious broski
Writing plot movie feeling complete ?
movie feels like it's ending in the middle of the story, which it is. feels like a big introduction but not in a bad way
but it absolutly needs a sequel. without a second part, it would feel very weird
it really does feel like the first part of a saga

Lol this was my worry a bit
Lol this was my worry a bit
i mean, if we get for sure a second part it's not a problem
because unless Villeneuve made a 4h+ movie, there was no way he could've put the whole book in a single film

All true just a matter of that next part 2-4 years away does this story leave enough to discuss and go back to until then
