Tbh Im excited for the movie because of the talent involved but I dont get the choice to make the colors look so muted and lifeless. This is a scifi movie, show us crazy visuals/concepts. Most of the environments shown look like Earth, not alien planets.
the book apparently describes the world as drab and lifeless so thats prob why, although they may have gone too far on that
Yeah i didn't like the music either. Teaser trailer music was more fitting imo
The music was too happy for a Villeneuve film
Word
Timmy seems best when he has a little more energy but this looks loke itll be nice to see big screen. Hope the sound design is hype.
Word is after Tenet flop, WB are wanting to move Wonder Woman to this December date and then this to 2021
tenet flopped?
whats a flop in this climate considering the circumstances?
that's what i'm wondering too lol. i think it did alright due to the circumstances.
really cant wait to see how Denis portrays the Bene Gesserit
I love their look with the veils draped over their faces.
Basically Jedi's of the universe
As accessible and successful as I wasn't this to be I hope it's weird as hell too.
yeah I still don't get how Tenet flopped lol. It is yet to open in a number of big markets and depending on how well it can retain its first week numbers, it could end up making back its money just through the theatrical run (and probably make well more once it hits home release)

Covid-19 is still out here, lol. People aren't eager to flock to the movies.
also fun fact Pink Floyd was suppose to do the original soundtrack to the Dune film adaption in the 80's

this and the batman trailer. going with the f***ing big guns on nirvana and Pink Floyd. havent seen that done in awhile. especially cool in b2b big movie trailers to do it.
wish it was more colorful, really despise modern film and tv using the muted look
