My hope is people hate Eternals, need some other type of superhero/sci-fi/action movie to watch. Then they all go “lets go see what this dunes about” and boom it does even better.

nah they did an amazing job at adapting this book to a modern and understandable direction because i’m halfway in and hooked

If you arent watching in theaters, you really should consider taking a trip to an IMAX to check it out tbh.
Will be the best cinematic experience you'll ever have

If Dune 2 is a success, Messiah will undoubtedly be greenlit.

WB potentially has THE sci fi franchise of the 2020s in their hands right now

watching this movie with less expectations, knowing where things are gonna go, and knowing that theres no big huge crazy ending made the experience much better for sureeeee

And the fact you can see a different galaxy that they are emerging from, it's like a wormhole i believe

The shots in space were some of my favorites

But is that not a planet from a different galaxy through there?
We can only see the planet in the middle of that giant craft, we see no parts of it in the rest of that shot.
Its almost like the view of the planet only exists within the gape in the spacecraft

So I guessed that inside of there is a different galaxy and the tiny spaceship passed through it and came out the other side of it in order to reach the other planet in a different galaxy

But idk im just theorizing

I didn't read the book so I'm not sure but doesn't dune all happen i' our milky way galaxy?
