Oct 23, 2021·1 replyMelzHalloween Kills hasnt even opened in Dune's 4 biggest overseas markets, has less than half of Dune's score on rottentomatoes, the 12th movie in a horror franchise, and nor is it based on a book that is a top 3 selling Sci Fi novel of all time
Dune should not be doing less than Halloween it really shouldnt especially not potentially $20M less. Not to mention Halloween didnt even get IMAX release and 24-25% of Dune's ticket sales are IMAX which means they make a lot more money usually
saying Halloween should do well bc its a holiday franchise movie is just BS btw the numbers are really impressive all things considered while Dune's #s arent very impressive
