It’s not even jokes in Raised By Wolves it’s just flipping religious themes. Still serious but told in different ways.

WarriorDon't forget that he movie has to follow the story of the book. There is so much world-building in the book that it is impossible to make a single 2.5 hour movie that is paced "well" (as in being a traditional beginning middle ending format) without rewriting parts of the book. It is unfortunate but the last thing we want is another Lynch Dune where the movie suffers because they wanted the whole book in one film
i feel like ppl also forgetting dune has been known as super difficult to adapt into a movie, with all the perspective changed and how dense it is
denis did an insanely good job
sadly i think its impossible to “perfectly” adapt the book into a movie bc of how different the mediums are
