I can get behind that and I agree, I think the film kinda collapses towards the ending when it becomes more and more about Deckerd and it kinda loses the focus and intrigue it had in the first place
I understand but I disagree. I think the film keeps it’s focus personally.
The story is about k discovering himself and his role to play in this larger narrative beyond him.
And the reason the OG never interested me like this film did is because i never really cared for Deckard as a character

I never got through it. It was so boring to me.
I think it's actually pretty nice, there's a lot of interesting visual ideas and the first part of the movie is really good, except maybe the wonky visual effects, but the 2nd half is so blatantly cut up and re edited by the producers that it totally kills it, it's actually pretty sad how they didn't respect David's vision for this film, even to this day he seems pretty sad about it
