Only thing holding this film back is that it definitely feels like a setup film towards the end, there's no hiding from that. Pt1 and 2 should've been filmed back 2 back

Agree but maybe some of the small pacing issues that people had will be fixed now that denis has feedback on the first part. Maybe its a good thing they didnt film em back to back. Im just scared they might have a hard time getting back in their roles cause they were so amazing in the first one

My dad force fed me Lynch's version since I was like 5 so I got a bit of an edge I guess. No idea what was going on half the time till I was in high school lol.

Anyway yeah I don't know it the film goes into it (not surprised if they don't) but spoiler alert universal jihad was Pauls big fear after his revolution was successful. Also the spice is a metaphor for oil and it's all consuming power it provided places like the middle east.
